Therapy is a process of exploration and discovery through which one learns new ways of dealing with unproductive thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Therapy assists clients in reconnecting to inner strengths, in keeping love and intimacy alive in relationships, in transitioning through times of uncertainty, and in improving quality of life.
My process is collaborative and solution-focused. I use an integrative approach that helps clients address the physical, psychological, relational and spiritual dimensions of their lives. Work with adults is growth-oriented, and includes cognitive, behavioral, psychodynamic, and experiential therapies. With children, age-appropriate play therapy and art therapy are utilized to assist them in expressing emotions and resolving behavior problems.
